Florida Pics!So as you guys might know I was in Florida for a little while, 11 days to be exact I think! \o/ My parents just retired, so they're going to start going there every year. Maybe next year if there's a con during that time, maybe I can squeeze that in too, who knows.
Speaking of cons, I *WILL* be at Anime Expo this year in LA!! So exciting!! I've never been ;v; I'm tabling with =MagicalSakura. I look forward to seeing everyone!!
More about Florida~~ I took a TON of pics but honestly I just have too many to upload lol. So I'm just uploading a portion(below). Tbh for the most part we just chilled, it wasn't a 24/7 party. First week was mostly enjoying the weather and getting used to the place we were staying in. My parents lived about a 10 minute drive from the beach with oyster shacks and tons of places to eat and drink (one night we practically went beach bar hopping).
I have been to Punta Cana before, so I guess when I went to Florida I was expecting similar weather. Nooope TTuTT>;; It was so chilly at night! Wth was that! Still, the weather is a lot better than Canada~
Picture time~! I'm better at recalling my trip with them, anyway, heh~

This was just a tree in our backyard. I guess these trees are everywhere around here. They're so exotic looking to me so I got excited when I saw them, lol. I kept saying to Ichi how much I just wanted to wiggle up one and get a coconut or w/e LOL.

This was the place we were staying! It was a small little place. Nothing fancy. Speaking of which, the homes there are so amazing! We lived in old country, where all the retired folk go to hang out, so the houses looked so...vintage and refreshing. There was someone nearby who had the ugliest seafoam green driveway with seahorses and dolphins decorating their front yard. From far away I thought they had a pool in their front yard. xD; Ugly, but like... so...cool...

Just some pictures of me. I am so used to dressing like this now that I don't even notice people staring at me anymore. We went out to Wal-mart and I actually got a lot of compliments (and then there were these two douches too.. hrrmrmmm~~), and the people there were super nice! Speaking of Wal-mart, there are some things in the US that you can't get in Canada. For instance, certain sodas (though we call in pop in Canada?) like: Vanilla Coke, MtnDew Code red, and the Mtn dew blue stuff. It's also vice versa. The US doesn't have dillpickle chips. Dafuq is up with that. I was like, "let's get snacks! I want dill pickle chips!" - NOPE. None here. They didn't even have dill pickle dip. I swear to you, it's gooood!!! QQ
The last image is a hard carved cup I got at a bar btw. There's a monkey face on it, lol.

Oysters!! I am a seafood lover. My mom is from NewfoundLand so I was practically raised on it. It's in my blood. *m* I have tried clam, lopster, crab, salmon, muscles, shrimp, etc etc... and all I like. But these were raw oysters. Not really.... my thing... at all..... they were good with cheese and salsa though~! (Everythingisgoodwithcheeseandsalsathough.)

Sorry, I'll just say it now, this is a dead baby turtle. Tbh I was looking so forward to going and exploring in the back yard (when I was a kid I did that a lot, catching frogs and salamanders... I could seriously do it all day) and I wanted to do it here until my mom told me about the crazy ass poisonous snakes and shit. So I couldn't, boo. But Ichi and I were taking a walk and we saw this on the road. I tried to do a seance to revive the lifeless turtley corpse but it was too late. (..Actually I just flipped it over and it was dead from being baked in the sun or w/e crai)

Oh yeaaah~! We also went to a dinner/show! We went to go see Hairspray (pretty sure Ichi and I were the youngest people there). It was so....CAMPYYYYY.......... but it was still good. I know musicals are good but I get embarrassed liking them for some reason. Anyway, I drew this picture^ (it was the main character) and left it on the table lol. Wonder if someone ever kept it haha~

On the weekend we went to Disney World. I got a first visit pin, so cuuuuuuuute QvQ We went to Hollywood Studios first, then Epicot, then Magic Kingdom. We went on a ton ton ton of rides ---.... well... sort of? >v>" Ichi and I had never been to an amusement park together before. So, I didn't know he was scared shitless of them. I think he might even have a phobia? We were in line for Splash Mountain, and he was having like a panic attack
So I had to go on it by myself (along with the majority of the rides I went on there)... so we were fighting for a portion of the day but I guess I got over it with the excitement of the rides. *v*; SPEAKING OF WHICH, Splash Mountain, wth? It was kind of creepy to me. Like, the "story". Or whatever it was. Was weird. Oh, please forgive me for my face in these pics. And all the time.

HAT. SO.. BIG. I swear. Disney World is it's own city. It practically is. And it was so overwhelming and amazing, every last bit of it. Ichi really likes the Muppets, so we went to the Muppet theatre, and we went on the Star Wars 3D ride thing. So damn cool. Everything was so damn cool ;_;

Honey I Shrunk the Kids!! I loved this place! I remember when I came here when I was 6, that ant was SO GODDAMN BIG TO ME... was very cool. It was like a giant playground. And yes I went through the tunnels and got in the way of children/their parents SIIIGH.

A giant fucking speak and spell. This was near around the Toy Story/Pixar area. I wish I could've checked more around this place, we only had one day to spend at Disney. :< And, Tower of Terror!! I remember I had went on this as a kid, (twice) and I acted like I was the shit LOL. This was the first ride Ichi and I went on together. After that I think he was all rided out. DAMN IT WAS COOL THOUGH. I fucking love rides. I wanted to go on again but of course Ichi pussied out so.
Last pic is of me.. and.. a hat I got haha. It's so cute. And I mean, I went to Disney World. I had to get a hat lol.

After that we went to Epicot. Is it Epicot, or Epcot? Idk. Anyway yeaaah. If you don't know what Epicot is, it's basically a park that showcases all the countries, and it's HUUUGE... like, old English buildings, shrines, everything. Really cool. First was most of the European countries (me stuck in a phone booth). The picture on the right was this little Coke building, and it had all these taste test stations to taste different sodas from around the world. Israel man, they know what they're doing with their soda.

Next was France, so we stopped at the bakery (all of the workers there had French accents and everything too, I wonder if they get them to play the part or if they're actually French?). Best quiche I've ever had. ;U;

As we were eating there was a street show going on~ there was this insane dude... and he put floor wine bottles down, put a chair on top, and would keep adding chairs. He got up to 4 chairs. And then he did fucking flips and shit on them. It was cool ;v;

Next was Saudi Arabia I think. Ichi and I are both pretty shy so we were always too shy to get someone to take our pictures, but luckily there was a nice couple who offered to take ours. So this is one of the only pics we have together. T~T

Next was Japaaaaaaaan~~ believe it or not I did not buy anything from the massive Japanese store there. Everything was soooo freakin' overpriced. @v@ They had some really nice prints and stuff though!

By the time we finished Japan, Ichi and I were getting really tired, so we sort of just sped through the rest of the countries. xD This is China.

Norway!! I tried to take some cute viking pictures...... nope.

After that was Magic Kingdom. It was so goddamn magical. Now let me just tell you something.
For quite awhile I have been dreaming to go to Disney World.

So when we turned the corner and saw the castle, a show started playing there, and I STARTED CRYING... for real... aaahhhhh /trying not to cry now/ As corporate and brutal and scary as Disney is, DW is really the most happiest place on earth!!

By the end of the day, when we left, we were both crying. It was really really sad actually. I miss it so much. I want to live there.
SPACE MOUNTAIN BY THE WAY HOLYSHIIIIIIIIIIIIT I went on it twice, I could've went on it ten more times. Scariest, best ride I've ever been on! I fucking love roller coasters.
The next day, me, Ichi, and my parents went to Universal, but I don't feel like uploading all those pics too (lol). Mom and Ichi are the pussies in our group I guess, so because of the lack of rides the day before, I forced my dad to go on EVERYTHING WITH ME.. LOL.. every time we'd go on something he'd by like "Allison, you're killing me" "Allison, no more after this one" bahahaha. We went on this ride:

Called "The Hulk" at Universal. Was so damn cool. I want to go on all the rides! I love rides! I LOVE THEM! *_*
I actually really, really enjoyed Jurassic Park River Adventure too. I like rides with visuals to them, like being taken to a different atmosphere (like Space Mountain). I want to go on all of them. *_*
EDIT: LOL I MISSED SOMETHING!
So we went to Universal, right? We went to that Harry Potter land, and I got a chocolate frog and those jelly beans. Very cool, but it costed me $20. So expensive.
The next day leaving we were in the car and I opened the bag I had put them in, and the chocolate was CRAWLING with ants. I don't know how they got in there, but I had been keeping the bag on my laps for the most of the trip that they were on my lap too and crawling into my bloomer shorts. : | I FREAKED THE FUCK OUT and we pulled over in some sort of trailor trash area lol ...;;; Once we stopped I like launched out of the car and threw off my shorts, and in perfect timing, an icecream truck paste to see me hanging around on the street in my pantsu. Woo.
So yeah there goes $20 down the drain! T3T But at least it made some... vivid..memories...</b>
So for the most part that's it! Also, new journal skin, woo. |D
