Sometimes, though, even if I don't like the art, I actually pick thing up because of the type of print job they did on the cover--If it looks like the publisher went all-out (I forget the series, but there was one recently with an embossed shiny cover and fake protective flaps, on unusual sized paper) then I usually try to give it a chance.

Special extras make the difference between downloading or leaving it at work and taking it home!
